Liam Kinsella best in Prem C

7 Sep 2016 by Kew FC

Kew Football Club is extremely proud to announce young gun and favourite son, Liam Kinsella has won the Zachariah Medal for the 2016 Premier C League Best and Fairest!

This is an amazing achievement from the young man affectionately known by his teammates as “Pineapple.” At 20 years of age and standing just a little over 5 feet tall, every week he shows the courage, flare and brutality of a true champion.

Liam came to the club in 2013 to play for the Kew Giants U/18 team but quickly asserted himself as a senior player, coming second in the senior club best and fairest and winning the best on ground in the grand final against Elsternwick, all at the age of 16!

After playing most of 2014 in the Oakleigh Chargers TAC Cup premiership team, Liam returned to the Bears in 2015 to win another senior premiership in Division 1 against Ormond.

You are a true champion Liam and legend of the club.
